PA 9000 Milling HMI

The PA 9000 Milling HMI is a user friendly HMI which already has all standard functionalities for operating a milling machine.
The main advantages are:

  • Free scalable screen to fix on a huge number of screens
  • Open interface to add new parts or substitute existing parts on the HMI
3D Visualization

This new visualization renders a 3D-Scene, which shows the actual milling process performed by the CNC, including the removal of the material. So it is possible to look at the raw part, during the cutting process from every angle and in arbitrary scale, independent from dust, water or other external circumstances that prevent a clear view during such processes.

Relating to the PC-based architecture, PA can switch easily to the newest CPU models and technologies. This includes the newest graphic-processors, which enables PA to render the most detailed 3D-scenes in high resolutions (up to Full HD) compared to our competitors. The level of details for the removal of material can be set by the user.

PA offers a 3D real time visualization of tool, workpiece and machine.

Tool Management

The PA 9000 Milling HMI uses a Postgre-SQL database for tool management. The database is fully integrated in the PA system with accessibility from PLC, HMI, CNC and NC program. The tool management consists tables about the tool, the tool type, the tool holder, the tool magazine and the tool corrections.

PA Standard PLC

In every PA 9000 CNC, Power Automation provides a ready to use Standard PLC program. With the PA Standard PLC you can easily implement your own functions and peripherals.

PA also offers a PLC App library for a lot of functions and peripherals often used in a milling machine.

PA SMAC

PA SMAC (Smart Axis Calibration) is a standalone calibration tool for 4- and 5-axes machines. With PA SMAC you can easily check the 5-axis RTCP and then calibrate it.

The software for PA SMAC is implemented in the PA HMI.
